The ECUs/control units for today’s engines and transmissions are very complex microcomputers. In order to repair one of these units, one has to know exactly how they function. For this reason, most every authorized, Porsche repairers refuse to offer this service. You’re likely to be given the expensive advice of buying a new Porsche.

Cartronic has been involved for years in repairing Porsche drive units and we are proud to offer repairs on all drive units for all Porsche models.

With our own system of microelectronic tools we test all drive units before their repair. The tools inspect all functions and system processes of the individual drive unit. The diagnostic information provided enables us in the shortest time possible to locate and correct drive unit malfunctions. After repair, the drive units are put through a complete functionality test. Only after passing the test and being approved do we ship the unit back to the customer.

Our offer for drive unit repairs:

1. Repair: You send us your defect unit and 5-7 days after receiving your unit, we ship it back fully-repaired.

2. Exchange: You receive an already repaired unit from our warehouse in exchange for your defect unit. This service is just as inexpensive as the repair, only 24 hours faster. A corresponding drive unit must already be available in our warehouse for the exchange to be processed. .

Quality:

To ensure the performance of our units, we will grant you a 24 month guarantee. The guarantee is issued irregardless of mileage and without any ifs, ands or buts. Our guarantee matches that of buying a new unit.

Your Advantage:

When you do the math, our repair will save you up to 50% over the purchase of a new unit. A repair costs, on average, around € 520,00 - cost is determined by the extent of the repair, just ask for a price quote!

LH-Steuergeräte aus der Baureihe Porsche 928 weisen häufig einen defekten Hybridbaustein auf. Lange zeit war eine Reparatur nicht möglich, da es die Hybridbausteine nicht gab. Nun haben wir die Bausteine nachbauen lassen. Ab sofort können also wir jedes LH Steuergerät, was lange Jahre als nicht reparabel galt, ebenfalls reparieren.

LH ECUs from the Porsche 928 series frequently presented a defect component. For the longest time repairs were not possible as there were no more hybrid components to be found. Finally, Cartronic has the available component. Just as well, we can now repair every LH drive unit, which for so long were considered irreparable.

High-tension capacitor repair

Our tireless search for the missing part has finally been rewarded.

In an agreement with a parts manufacturer, we have secured a limited quantity of new capacitors. They aren’t cheap, but finally the solution is available.

We are also now able to professionally repair all high-tension capacitor units.

Simply send us your capacitor with a description of the malfunction. Repairs require two working days for completion.
